Purpose:

American Crew Lubricating Shave Oil is a non-greasy formula that smooths the skin for a close, effortless shave. Can be used as a prep under shave cream or gel, or on its own for normal skin types.

Method:

Apply a smaller amount onto a wet palm and massage onto area to be shaved.

Why It Works:

This formula contains a blend of essential natural oils that soften beard hair, resulting in a cleaner, closer shave. Designed to counteract razor bumps and ingrown hairs.

Metalfish: I chose this as an alternative to similar products in smaller bottle sizes that I've used in the past. I particularly like its smell but if you don't like cloves then it might not be for you. I do though so it's just great.

It goes on nicely and lets you see where you're shaving.

The only downside for me - from an environmental point - is that the outer box is a bit unnecessary. But it's a small detail. I'd definitely recommend this to others.
