Purpose

The MUHLE R873SR Kosmo Bog Oak Safety Razor (Closed Comb) is an elegant safety razor with a stylish handle that is made from bog oak with chrome-plated metal highlights.

Method

Unlike modern blade systems, the head of the safety razor does not move. The blades are replaced by unscrewing the cap.

Why it Works

This razor is made using bog oak which is a rare material which comes from wood that sank into bogs many centuries ago and has undergone various processesof change in the meantime. This preserves the wood and an expressive dark colour develops due to the tannins in the bog. The razorhead consists of a classic blade that gives a precise and very close shave.
